I’ve mentioned the SANDS UK Why 17? campaign before. It highlights the fact that 17 babies a day are stillborn or die neonatally in the UK and calls for more research to be done into the cause of these deaths. A crucial part of this is the Saving Babies’ Lives report. For obvious reasons, this is a campaign close to my heart. I urge you to take some time to find out about it.

After successful events at Westminster and the Welsh Assembly, Why 17? has its Scottish Parliament launch in November. Meantime, there’s an e-petition on the Parliament’s website. Please consider signing.
