Kevin Cadwallander, well known to those of us and the Edinburgh poetry scene, has organised a poetry marathon to take place at the Forest Cafe tomorrow and Friday this week. His aim is to have 100 poets reading 15 min each. The event runs from 10 AM to 7 PM on Thursday, then 10 PM to 3 AM, starting again on Friday at 10 AM and running through to 7 PM again. I’ll be reading a set at 5:15 on the Friday.There is a full list of readers at the Facebook event here.

No sleep indeed! Of course, this is shortly before my Knife Fight in a Telephone Box event in the same venue. So, if you come by for one why not stay for the other? They’re both free.
